Located in the Belfer Research Building, part of the Weill Cornell Medical College (WCMC), is this digital donor wall. Named the Discovery Wall, it commemorates medical discoveries and other news from the WCMC.
The wall is created from thousands of tiny screens with magnifying lenses attached - all set in a mosaic grid pattern. Fabricated with acrylic casings and etched sides - the feature wall constantly rotates content in an animated fashion. With the complexities of integrating hardware and software, the entire assembly was start to finish was created and engineered from the ground up.
